Information on Personal Data Processing according to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (also referred to as “GDPR”)

Company NOMADU The privacy of Data Subjects is extremely important to the Data Controller, and therefore, the Data Controller complies with relevant legal regulations when processing personal data. The Data Controller protects the personal data of Data Subjects with the necessary care.

In connection with fulfilling its information obligations under Article 13 of the GDPR, the Data Controller provides Data Subjects with the information stated in this Information on Personal Data Processing. The following text mainly contains information about what personal data the Data Controller processes, why it processes them, how it processes them, what categories of other recipients of personal data there are, what rights Data Subjects have in connection with the processing of their personal data, as well as information on the processing of cookies.

Data Controller and Information System

The Data Controller is always the entity to which the Data Subjects have provided their personal data and which determines for what purpose and by what means the personal data will be processed.

The Data Controller is the company NOMADU, acting through its managers: Norbert Velk. The Data Controller can be contacted at the phone number: +41 76 251 05 11 and at the email address: info@gonomadu.com. The Data Controller processes the personal data of Data Subjects within the information system designated as “WordPress.”

Purposes of Personal Data Processing and Legal Basis for Processing Personal Data

The purpose of the Data Controller’s processing of personal data is:

  • Presentation of the Data Controller’s products and services,
  • Informing Data Subjects about the Data Controller’s products and services, their price and availability, based on the requirements and inquiries of Data Subjects through forms on the website hite.sk (responding to the inquiry or request submitted),
  • Marketing and commercial purposes, i.e., sending marketing messages and offers.

To achieve the stated purposes, it is necessary for the Data Controller to know the categories of personal data listed below (point 4 of this Information on Personal Data Processing). If the required personal data is not provided, some user functionalities of the website www.gonomadu.com may be restricted.

The applicable legal basis for the processing of personal data is the consent expressed by the Data Subjects under Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR.

Data Subjects (Individuals whose personal data is processed by the Data Controller)

The Data Controller processes the personal data of Data Subjects, i.e., individuals who provide their personal data to the Data Controller through forms on the website www.gonomadu.com in the required extent and at the same time grant the Data Controller consent to process the provided personal data under Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR.

Categories of Processed Personal Data

The Data Controller processes only such personal data that are necessary to inform customers about its products and services. The Data Controller processes mainly the following categories of personal data to the extent necessary to achieve the purpose of processing:

Identification Data:

  • First name, last name, IP address.

Contact Data:

  • Phone number, email address.

Recipients, or Categories of Recipients, who Process Personal Data

The Data Controller and its employees have access to personal data, as well as the administrator of the website www.gonomadu.com, providers of marketing and advertising services, Google LLC, the IT service provider (only for viewing purposes), and public authorities within the fulfillment of the Data Controller’s legal obligations.

Cross-border transfer of personal data to third countries outside the European Union and the European Economic Area is not carried out by the Data Controller. This occurs only if the Data Subject grants consent to store analytical cookies. In such a case, the personal data of the Data Subject will be transferred to the USA, to Google LLC, which provides the Google Analytics service used by the Data Controller for measuring website traffic and activity on the website www.gonomadu.com.

Duration of Personal Data Retention

The Data Controller processes personal data of Data Subjects only for the necessary period, but no longer than five years from their provision. The Data Controller will delete personal data obtained from Data Subjects through forms on the website www.gonomadu.com no later than five years from the date of their acquisition.

Acquisition of Personal Data

The Data Controller acquires personal data of Data Subjects directly from the Data Subjects through forms on the website www.gonomadu.com. Data Subjects always provide their personal data to the Data Controller voluntarily. An exception is the IP address of the Data Subject, which the Data Controller obtains automatically when the Data Subject visits the website www.gonomadu.com.

Rights of Data Subjects in Connection with Personal Data Processing

Data Subjects have the following rights towards the Data Controller:

Right of Access to Their Personal Data Data Subjects have the right to be provided with a list of personal data they have provided to the Data Controller and to be informed about how the Data Controller processes their personal data.

Right to Rectification of Personal Data The Data Controller maintains accurate, complete, and up-to-date personal data at all times. If Data Subjects believe that the personal data held by the Data Controller is not accurate, complete, or up-to-date, they have the right to contact the Data Controller to correct it.

Right to Erasure of Personal Data Data Subjects have the right to the erasure of personal data provided that the legal reasons stated in Article 17 of the GDPR are met, for example, if the purpose of their processing has ended or if the Data Subject has withdrawn their consent for processing and there is no other legal basis for processing.

Right to Restriction of Personal Data Processing Data Subjects have the right to request, under legal conditions, that the Data Controller stops using their personal data, for example, if the personal data held by the Data Controller is inaccurate.

Right to Object to Personal Data Processing If the Data Controller does not have a convincing legitimate reason for processing and the Data Subject files an objection, the Data Controller will no longer process the personal data.

Right to Withdraw Consent to Personal Data Processing If personal data is processed based on consent, Data Subjects have the right to withdraw their consent at any time. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the legality of the processing of personal data before the withdrawal.

Right to Data Portability Under certain circumstances, Data Subjects have the right to request the transfer of personal data that they have provided to the Data Controller. This right concerns personal data provided by the Data Subjects based on their consent.

Right to Lodge a Complaint with the Supervisory Authority Data Subjects have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic, https://dataprotection.gov.sk, Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava.

The Data Controller does not process the personal data of Data Subjects for automated decision-making or profiling as described in Article 22(1) to (4) of the GDPR, as it does not use this personal data for decision-making or profiling.

Articles 15 to 21 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data specify these rights in more detail.

Exercising Rights to Personal Data

The rights listed in point 8 of this Information on Personal Data Processing can be exercised by Data Subjects by sending a written request by mail to the address NOMADU

The Data Controller will respond to any requests regarding personal data processing without undue delay, no later than one month from receipt of the request. The period may be extended by a further two months for specific reasons. The Data Controller will inform the Data Subjects of the reasons for the extension within one month of receiving the request.

Updating Personal Data: The Data Controller aims to process only current and accurate personal data. Data Subjects have the opportunity to inform the Data Controller of any changes to the provided personal data by mail to the address NOMADU

Processing of Cookies under GDPR

For the operation of the website www.gonomadu.com, the Data Controller uses essential cookies that enable the basic functionality of this website. These cookies can be disabled by Data Subjects by changing their web browser settings, which may significantly affect the website’s functionality. The Data Controller also aims to use so-called non-essential cookies to improve the website www.gonomadu.com. However, their use requires the consent of individual website visitors as Data Subjects.

Essential Cookies Basic cookies enable the basic functionality of the website, as well as its security, network management, and accessibility.

Non-Essential Cookies Functional and performance cookies can speed up the processing of requests from Data Subjects as they allow the Data Controller to remember the preferences of individual Data Subjects.

Analytical cookies enable the Data Controller to improve the functionality of the website www.gonomadu.com through Google Analytics services by monitoring its usage by visitors (Data Subjects). The website www.gonomadu.com also uses third-party services such as tools for measuring traffic through Google Analytics systems. The website www.gonomadu.com loads third-party codes to utilize these services, which may require the acceptance of cookies from these third parties for full functionality. These cookies are the sole responsibility of these third parties. Session cookies are processed by the Data Controller until the Data Subject turns off the web browser. Persistent cookies remain stored in the web browser of the Data Subject until their expiration or manual deletion. Storing cookies on the devices of Data Subjects can be prevented by setting the web browser, but in such a case, the website or other third-party services may not function.
